Six Nations’ Stan Jonathan honoured by Boston Bruins organization

On the Saturday evening former hockey player Stan Jonathan was honoured as part of the Lunch Pail Athletic Club at the Boston Bruins Centennial Era Celebration.

Jonathon also went by the nickname “The Bulldog”. He was born in Ohsweken but grew up in nearby Hagersville, Ontario. He’s a full Tuscarora hockey player who most notably played for the Boston bruins for 8 seasons. Jonathan was also featured in two Stanley Cup Finals with the Bruins in 1977 and 1978.

The Lunch Pail AC was was known for being tough, working hard for the team, and for spending a lot of minutes in the penalty box.
