To submit your song for the Indigenous Top 10 you first need to register as a user on beyond pryde by clicking here and then fill out the registration form which requires your basic details. Once we receive your details you will be manually approved by our coordinator and you will receive a confirmation email. Once you are approved you will submit your songs to the Indigenous Top 10.

You can submit as many songs as you want per week however it’s best to focus and promote one song per week as many artists are now creating so much content weekly.

No, you cannot vote for your own song however you can vote for other artists songs that you may be featured on.

Promoting and networking is key, that’s what this platform was created for. Look for like minded people and collaborate and build relationships. Also keep in mind your influence and voice is your power! All music can sound great but that doesn’t mean it is great, have a message, build your following and they will vote for you. You can also be an “Emerging Artist Highlight” on the Indigenous Top 10 which will give you attention amongst the highly voted for participants.

An emerging artist is within their first 3 years of their professional career as a musical act, common emerging artists may only have an EP, mixtape or compilation of songs available on streaming platforms such as Spotify.

Each week during the Indigenous Top 10 that is played exclusively on Spotify and participating radio stations there is designated time slot for an emerging artist to highlight what they’re doing within their community and how its being shown within the music.

No, unfortunately Indigenous Top 10 is only exclusively on Spotify and participating radio stations which follow the same CRTC bi-laws.
