On Tuesday, December 19th, the Six Nations Police along with the Ministry of Transportation conducted a safety initiative of commercial vehicles travelling on and around the Six Nations territory.
The goal was to ensure the safety of the community on the roadways during the holiday season while also focusing on public awareness and education. It was a call to action due to numerous complaints by Six Nations community members about commercial vehicles on local roadways being unsafely driven in a dangerous manner.
