Dylan Isaacs, a 30 year old Six Nations man was fatally shot while leaving a National Football League (NFL) Game on the evening of January 7th, 2024.
Isaacs and his friends attended a Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills game at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Florida. While attempting to leave after the game was over in argument in a parking lot occurred just blocks away from the stadium. That was where an unknown male hit the group of friends with his vehicle.
The unidentified man then sped off. When Isaacs and the group of friends ran after the vehicle, the male suspect attempted to flea the scene, then got out of his vehicle and opened fire, taking the life of Isaacs.
Six Nations community members have shared their support for family and friends of Issacs. A GoFundMe campaign has been started by Ashley Cooke who says “I am a community member and family friend who wants to assist the family during this difficult time.”
Funds collected will be transferred to the family, sent to Dylan’s Aunt Cecelia Skye.
